1. DEFINITION
1.1 Name

The NIGERIA CURLING FEDERATION hereinafter called “NCF” is an organization founded in 2017 in Nigeria, Africa. The NCF is a non-profit organization.
The Federation shall composed of the affiliated 36 States associations and Abuja FCT governing the sport of Curling on the basis of one association per state.
1.2 Objectives
1.2.1 The union of all eligible athletic clubs, organizations or other groups active in Curling throughout Nigeria and the world.
1.2.2 To develop standardized competitive rules.
1.2.3 Maintain a system for recognizing and approving records.
1.2.4 Establish administrative and technical committees from its own member.
1.2.5 Establish, define and enforce rules for the government of Curling internationally.
1.2.6 Discourage the use of band drugs substance for a free Curling.
1.2.7 Produce official bulletins and/or Curling publications.
1.2.8 Secure other state affiliates (within the country).
1.2.9 Promote, sanction and supervise international development programs and competitions, including world championships and Local competitions.
1.2.10 Maintain an NCF General Assembly of bona fide international representatives.
1.2.11 To further the cause of Curling and strive for acceptance by other African Nation 1.2.12 To maintain membership of the General Assembly of International Sports Federations and take part in the World Games.
1.3 Public utility
The NCF works for the purposes of this order for the benefit of the public in each valid version. All actions and activities carried out by the NCF are not aiming a profit.
The members have no interest in the federation property. The members of this body work in an honorary voluntary acapacity; the property of the NCF serves exclusively for purposes of the sport and entertainment. Any profits may be supplied only for statutory purposes. The members receive no shares in the profits.
No person may receive for an activity or task in the NCF, an unreasonably high reimbursement.
1.4 Funds for the reaching of the statutory tasks
To the fulfillment of the Federation's tasks, necessary money is raised by:
a) Membership fees of the member associations, curler and referees
b) Income of competitions
c) Sanction fees
d) Donations
e) Government grant
f) Income from advertisements
g) Income from Internet Pay-TV etc
h) Miscellaneous income
i) Sponsorship
NCF Executives/Non-Executives are not allowed to make any financial gains regarding funds that comes in via the mentioned sources as listed above directly or indirectly except by the approval of the President, subject to the condition that such persons have worked for such income therefore the President can approve between 5 to 10 percent of the total money to that individual member who made or facilitated such funds to come into NCF account. Anything other than that, such individual or NCF member that benefits more than that without the approval of the President or Secretary General will be considered a violation of this constitution.
