The Members Associations of the World Curling Federation have voted to change the format of the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship after an emergency motion was made by the representatives at the Annual General Assembly in Budapest, Hungary.
Nigeria Curling Federation will be organizing a 10 days curling camp for all Nigerian youth who wants to be a future curler and may want to represent Nigeria in both local and international championships. This program is endorsed by World Curling Federation.
The camp is to run from March 21st to March 31st, 2019.
Nigeria Curling Federation has officially signed a contract with two World Class Curling Coaches to lead the Curling Program towards its Olympic goals.
The NCF team will be coached by former Czech Republic Coach Ellery Robichaud, and Former Canadian Champion Rick Perron. Both Coaches are from Canada and have competed and won at the National and World levels.
The Coaches are excited to train and mentor the Nigerian Team and look forward to competing at the world stage.
The Centre of Curling Excellence is set to work with NCF Athletes in preparation for the 2022 games. The training camp will take place from July 23 to July 27, 2018.
